While stopping to ask directions in Mendoza we were invited to a BBQ Argentina style - a slab of meet was skillfully thrown on the fire while wine and cheese were served in the meantime.

The host was a part of a BMW motorcycle club that had been meeting for nearly 20 years in a small house where motorcycles, family and of course, wine was discussed freely.

On the road to Buenos Aires

A broken chain on the way to Buenos Aires required us to improvise and necessitated an overnight stay at a nearby gas station - good times.

Steve's broken KLR 650 motorcycle frame came as an unpleasant end of the trip suprise. Kawasaki was immediately contacted and a frame was waiting in Seattle upon our return. Thanks Kawasaki!
